The Final Southwest JV Meet
A Few Stories: The tradition
of fun at Southwest's Junior Varsity meets was carried on with fun competition,
a great Bar-BQ, and a well-sung hokey-pokey-- not to mention the showdown
between coaches and selected athletes in the 4x100 relay. It was a photo
finish, and while it appeared as if the coaches got the lean at the end,
the official times had the students 0.03 seconds ahead at the tape-- so
who really won? You'll have to decide for yourself, but THE RUNNERS PAGE
will side with the students and embrace the official results.
