The Minneapolis Conference Championship: Southwest Wins! (Again)
   The Southwest women won the city conference again with a mathematically unbeatable score of 22 points. The women were led by senior Callie Pastarr and sophomore sensation Jamie Cheever, who finished first and second in the city. Backing up the women were Molly Tolins, Trina Pastarr, Katherine Ketter, Lizzy Boosalis, and Danielle Walter. They beat second place South by twelve points.
   The Southwest men also won the meet, winning four of the past five championships. Their final score was a competitive 31 points, close to being unbeatable. Nevertheless, they went unbeaten, and were led by seniors Forrest Tahdooahnippah, who finished first, Neil Grosscup, Erik DeLapp, Dan Dickinson, junior Erik Maloney, sophomore Evan Rowe, and senior Austin Groth.
   An even more impressive story lies in the junior varsity races, where in the men's race Southwest secured the first seven spots. The large amount of depth that Southwest has this year became apparent to all city schools. Sophomore Eric Carter took the win in the men's JV.
